About this course

The ACCA exams are divided into two levels – Fundamentals and Professional. The Fundamentals component comprises of two modules; the Knowledge module introduces the main areas of financial and management accounting, while the Skills module covers the main technical areas that accountants should know. The Professional level is divided into two modules – Essentials and Options. Both of the modules at Professional level have been set at the same ability level as a Master’s degree. It explores more advanced professional skills, techniques and values that are required by senior level accountants working in an advisory or consultancy role.

The Applied Knowledge introduces students to the core areas of financial and management accounting, providing the platform from which the other technical accountancy areas will be studied in greater detail.

The Applied Skills covers the main technical areas that any accountant, regardless of their future career aspirations, is expected to have mastered.

Entry RequirementsApplicants must have one of the following Entry requirements:

  • Academic Qualification Requirement

    A Levels* – 2Ds

    STPM* – 2C+s

    UEC – 5Bs inclusive of English andMathematics

    Diploma (Accounting and Business related) – Pass with a minimum CGPA of 2.50

    Certified Accounting Technician – Pass (exempted from Applied Knowledge level)

    Foundation Studies – Pass with Min. CGPA of 2.50

    Degree – Pass (exemptions up to 9 papers)

    * In addition to the above mentioned requirements, the students must have obtained minimum 5 credits inclusive of English and Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent

  • Credit (SPM / 1119 / UEC / O Levels examination) ; Min. score of Band 4 in MUET
