About this course

The Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) in Entrepreneurship & Venture Management (Hons) is specifically designed to equip students with the basics in accounting, finance, computing, quantitative analysis, english, and economics. Together, it is further enhanced with a strong knowledge in entrepreneurship and management, and their application to the real business environment. The courses offered are being specifically structured to produce excellent professionals who have the in-depth knowledge of entrepreneurship. The graduates will have the required competencies to churn out excellent ideas to create and nurture start-up companies, especially in the local business environment. They too can pursue their interests in the business establishments, or to elevate to a Master’s Degree in Entrepreneurship, or in other MBA programmes.

Entry RequirementsApplicants must have one of the following Entry requirements:

ENGLISH REQUIREMENT

  • Have taken MUET with minimum Band 1*; or
  • Pass IELTS with Band 5.5 and above; or
  • Pass TOEFL with score 550 and above

*Applicant must have this English Requirement before enroll

Minimum Entry Requirement

SIJIL TINGGI PERSEKOLAHAN MALAYSIA ( STPM)

  • Pass STPM/equivalent with a minimum of CGPA 2.00 or grade C for two (2) subjects; or

SIJIL TINGGI AGAMA MALAYSIA (STAM)

  • ​Pass STAM with a minimum grade of Jayyid in 2 subjects (taken within 2 years prior to application); and Credit in Mathematics and Bahasa Inggeris at SPM Level; or

*For STAM applications, student must have taken MUET with Band 1

MATRICULATION PROGRAMME

  • Pass Ministry of Education (MOE) Matriculation programme with minimum CGPA of 2.00; or

FOUNDATION PROGRAMME

  • Pass Foundation Studies from Public or Private Higher Education Institutions with minimum CGPA of 2.00; or

A-LEVEL

  • Pass A-Level  with minimum of Grade C in 2 subjects; or

DIPLOMA

  • Pass Diploma programme with minimum CGPA of 2.00 from recognized institution by Government of Malaysia; or

DIPLOMA VOKASIONAL MALAYSIA (DVM)

  • Pass DVM in related fields AND Pass Sijil Vokasional Malaysia (SVM) with:

        1) An Academic Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.33 or higher;

        2) A Vocational CGPA of 3.67 or higher and competent in all vocational modules;

        3) A credit in Bahasa Melayu (SVM 1104).

**Cohort 2013 onwards also need to get an exemption from obtaining a pass grade for Sejarah at SPM level.

UEC

  • Pass UEC  with minimum of Grade B in 5 subjects; or

*For HR programme must be including Maths and BI subjects

INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE DIPLOMA (IB)

  • Pass IB with minimum of 30 points; or

SAME/WACE/AUSMAT

  • Pass South Australian Matriculation (SAM) and South Australian Matriculation (AUSMAT) with 70%; or
  • South Australia Certificate of Education (SACE) and Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) with Band 2 in 2 subjects; or

OTHERS

  • Other equivalent qualification recognized by Government of Malaysia.

International Student Only

International students are required to have one of the English proficiency score stated below to enrol in UNITEN. Foundation students who do not fulfill this English requirement are required to sit for the Test of English Proficiency (TEP) before they could enroll in the English Short Course (ESC).

  • IELTS – International English Language Testing System
    Achieve 5.0
  • TOEFL – Test of English as a Foreign Language
    Achieve 500 (TOEFL) or 42 (TOEFL Internet Based Test)
