About this course
The Bachelor of Finance (Hons) degree gives students strong theoretical and conceptual foundations of finance, augmented by the ability to apply classroom learning to real-world problems.
To produce well-rounded graduates, the programme helps students develop their skills in quantitative techniques that will be crucial for them to meticulously analyse financial data and financial securities. Students will have the chance to experience simulations on how to operate on the trading floor of a stock exchange and participate in a wide variety of events conducted by relevant professional bodies such as Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB) and the Malaysian Financial Planning Council (MFPC).

Entry RequirementsApplicants must have one of the following Entry requirements:
Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM)
pass with minimum CGPA 2.33 or Grade C+ in two (2) subjects and pass SPM with credit in Mathematics and pass in English
Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM)
Pass with Jayyid and pass SPM with a credit in Mathematics and a pass in English
A-Level
Pass A-Levels with minimum passes in two (2) subjects, a credit in Mathematics at O Level and a pass in English
Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) or equivalent
Pass with minimum of grade B in five (5) subjects with a credit in Mathematics and a pass in English
Government Matriculation / Foundation
Pass with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 out of 4.00 and pass SPM with a credit in Mathematics and a pass in English
Diploma
Pass with minimum CGPA 2.50 in accounting related field or its equivalent and pass SPM with a credit in Mathematics and a pass in English
