About this course

“This program prepares students to become scientist-practitioners of counseling. That is, in addition to developing students to counsel to an international standard, the BSc. (Hons.) in Counselling with Psychology program encourages students to engage in the research literature directly. From developmental and social psychology, students will engage in advancing cognitive and neuropsychological content. At its core, our program is focused on developing academic ability and occupational readiness.”

The BSc. (Hons.) in Counselling with Psychology program at Perdana University represents an opportunity for graduates to be registered counselors on completion of their final year. Mirrored with the development in the West, this fledgling subject is expanding due to the opportunities in the job market. As we face the biggest pandemic in our lifetime, the need and role of counselors will only continue to grow.
