About this course
The Cambridge Assessment International Education A Level is MCKL’s most prominent pre-university programme. This serves as an entry qualification to a wide range of degree programmes in universities locally and internationally.
MCKL’s curriculum sets a global standard for education, with programmes that stretch, challenge, and inspire our students. They will be equipped with knowledge and key competencies and skills, ready to embark on their university journey.
Recognised Cambridge A Level Provider
One of the earliest tertiary institutions in Malaysia to offer the A Level programme as an education pathway for school leavers to further their studies globally. MCKL’s A Level programme is one of the most affordable and internationally recognised in Malaysia.

Total Course Fees
Local Students: RM21,000 (3 subjects), RM22,800 (4 subjects)
International Student: RM30,600 (3 subjects), RM33,300 (4 subjects)

Students are required to enrol a minimum of 3 subjects and a maximum of 4 subjects.
- Students are advised to refer to the Admission Form when selecting the subject combinations.
- Further Mathematics can only be enrolled as the fourth subject.
Entry RequirementsApplicants must have one of the following Entry requirements:
Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM)
Min. 5 credits and a pass in Bahasa Melayu and Sejarah (History)
O-Levels / IGCSE
Min. 5 credits in any subjects including English
Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) or Malaysian Government will be considered on a case-by-case basis
- Credit in respective science subject is required for Biology, Chemistry and Physics
- Credit in Additional Mathematics is required for Mathematics and Computer Science
- Further Mathematics must be enrolled with Mathematics
