About this course
MAHSA is determined to produce knowledgeable and competent Business graduates who can function effectively in various public and private business organizations. It aims to develop graduates who are capable of adapting to the global changes and current development which inculcate important values including leadership, social responsibility, scholarly, community involvement, ethical values and professionalism.
The Bachelor of Business Administration (ODL) programme aims to equip students with knowledge and tools that can help them derive useful information from business data and utilize the information intelligently in making faster and more effective business decisions. The student will be able to apply and integrate business acumen and knowledge with practical skills in managing the organizations for success. Student studying this programme to apply the fundamental processes, theories, practical skills in the various business areas such as economics, marketing, accounting, finance, law and management. This programme also trains a student to have effective critical thinking skills, to identify and analyze problems, develop viable alternatives and make effective decisions in business-related issues.
This programme meets the current and emerging needs of the adult population by widening access to higher education. It also functions as a catalyst to bridge social and digital divides. This unique Open and Distance Learning (ODL) approach is ideal for adult learners who seek to pursue a tertiary qualification for professional development and self-enrichment, flexibly and affordably. This programme bridges the digital divide and implements an ‘anywhere and anytime’ learning environment, as it revolves around a flexible and robust curriculum to widen educational access, deepen knowledge frontiers for the development of managerial skills.

Entry RequirementsApplicants must have one of the following Entry requirements:
Pass STPM or equivalent with minimum Grade C (GPA
2.00) in any 2 subjects and Pass in Mathematic and
English in SPM or equivalent (if the equivalent grade not
attained at STPM level)
Pass Matriculation / Foundation or equivalent with
minimum CGPA 2.00 out of 4.00
Pass STAM with minimum Grade Jayyid and Pass in
Mathematic and English in SPM or equivalent (if the
equivalent grade not attained at STAM level)
Other qualification equivalent to a Diploma or Advanced
Diploma (Level 4 or 5 KKM)
UEC: Minimum grade B in 5 subjects
IB: Score 24 AND Pass SPM or an equivalent qualification
with 5 credits including Bahasa Malaysia
South Australian Matriculation (SAM)/South Australian
Certificate of Education (SACE)/AUSMAT: Minimum 2
passes with ATAR 50% AND Pass SPM or an equivalent
qualification with 5 credits including Bahasa Malaysia
Diploma in related field: Pass with minimum CGPA 2.00
