About this course
IR 4.0 has influenced consumers to adopt a digital lifestyle in almost all aspects of their daily activities. The inevitable change in consumer behavior has forced the banking and financial services industry to digitalize their business operations to stay competitive and relevant. Hence, the Diploma in Financial Informatics programme aims to create FinTech professionals who are skilled in both IT and Financial fields besides enabling them to support investment operations as well as contribute towards financial institutions as business analysts to assist customers. Furthermore, students will obtain a solid in-depth knowledge in the theory and practice of decision making to thrive and be successful in the industry. Above all, graduates will be career-ready to be at the forefront of the FinTech world.

Entry RequirementsApplicants must have one of the following Entry requirements:

| STPM | Minimum of Grade C (GP 2.0) in any subject |
| STAM | Pass with a minimum grade of Maqbul |
| SKM | Level 3 in related field (For STPM, STAM and SKM, candidates are required to pass SPM with credit in Mathematics and pass in English) |
| Others | Any Certificate in Finance, Banking, Insurance or related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 out of 4.00 |
