About this course
Calling all SPM or STPM school leavers with a knack for figures! If you love counting numbers, this is the course for you! Upon completion, the Diploma in Accounting gives you direct access into the Bachelor of Accounting (Hons) degree course or the Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) degree course. You may also choose to start your career with the Diploma in Accounting qualification, which is recognised by employers in the government sectors, private companies, and non-profit organisations.
The Diploma in Accounting course is accredited by the Malaysia Qualification Agency (MQA) and recognised the Ministry of Higher Education. Through this course, you will have a good grasp, not only of Accounting, but also, how Accounting is interlinked with the other functions of business, and how the company is connected to the society at large, and subject to the governing laws. You will also be trained in critical thinking skills, language skills, communication skills, stress management and time management, which are the building blocks for the success of your future endeavours.

Entry RequirementsApplicants must have one of the following Entry requirements:
- A pass in SPM or its equivalent with a minimum of 3 credits including Mathematics and a pass in English; OR
- A pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) or its equivalent, with a minimum of Grade C (GP 2.0) in any subject, and credits in Mathematics and a pass in English at SPM level; OR
- A pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum grade of Maqbul and credits in Mathematics and a pass in English at SPM level; OR
- A pass in SKM Level 3 in a related field and a pass in SPM with a minimum of 1 credit in any subject with credits in Mathematics and a pass in English; OR
- A certificate or its equivalent in a related field.
