Secure Your Scholarships at Malaysia Education Fair 2021

PURSUING tertiary education at quality higher-learning institutions has always been a costly affair, causing worry to parents and students who may be struggling to cope with finances.

 

That is why most, if not all higher-learning institutions offer financial assistance in the form of tuition fee waivers, scholarships, bursaries, stipends, and more.

 

If you’re in search of scholarships to lighten the family’s financial burden, head over to the Malaysia Education Fair 2021 this weekend (April 17 and 18) to check out a variety of scholarships that are up for grabs.

 

Happening at the Setia SPICE Convention Centre, Penang, from 11am to 6pm, the two-day fair will be launched by Penang State Exco for Youth and Sports YB Soon Lip Chee.

 

School-leavers will have to access a variety of ‘financial deals’ including full tuition waivers, different types of scholarships, discounts and rebates using only their forecast results. Some notable scholarships available at the fair are as follows:

 

Quest International University Perak (QUIP)

Foundation Scholarship

Students with a minimum of 6A’s and above may receive a 100% tuition fee waiver. Those with a minimum of 3A’s may receive a 50% waiver.

 

Diploma Scholarship

Students with a minimum of 6A’s and above may receive a 50% tuition fee waiver. Those with a minimum of 3A’s may receive a 25% waiver.

 

UOW KDU Malaysia

Fee waivers of up to 100% available. Other scholarships and bursaries from RM1,000 to RM10,000 are also available.

 

Equator College Penang

RM3,000 discount for 2021 intake for Foundation in Design (pre-university).

School-leavers with 10A’s for SPM will receive a scholarship which covers 100% of tuition fees. Students with 8 to 9 A’s will receive 75%, while those with 5, 6 and 7 A’s will receive 50%.

 

Han Chiang University College

Up to 100% fee waivers for mass communication courses.

 

AIMST University

Full scholarships and awards for foundation programmes.

 

SEGI College

Rebate of RM5,000 and a free laptop for new diploma students. Degree students will receive a RM6,000 rebate.

 

MSU College Penang

Full scholarship for 5A’s and above.

 

Crew Lounge

RM4,000 scholarship available for those who want to become air-steward or air-stewardess

 

The Malaysia Education Fair will be held on April 17 and 18 at the Setia SPICE Convention Centre from 11am to 6pm. All-under-one-roof, the fair will house an array of higher-learning institutions – including Quest International University Perak, UOW KDU Malaysia, AIMST University, SEGI College, TARUC & many more.

 

Trained education counsellors and experts will be present to answer every query about courses offered, scholarships, taking the next step, and more, you or your parents may have.
